Minutes for August 15, 2007

Pam Jones, Debbie Batzer, and Carol Fox
President Laura Wetherald called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Minutes: This was the first meeting of the 2007 – 2008 school year.
New Business
Laura Wetherald introduced the 2007-08 Viking Backer Elected Board:
- Dave Bleyer – Treasurer
- Katherine Martinez – Vice President of Administration
- Tara James – Vice President of Ways and Means
- Tara Anderson – Secretary

Update from the Vice Presidents
Katherine Martinez gave an overview of Administrative Tasks.
Tara James gave an overview of Ways and Means Committees.

Need Chairperson for Fall Art Auction
Need Chairperson for Spring Mother/Daughter Tea and Fashion Show
Debbie Batzer will make contact with Carrabba’s
Fall Concessions Assistant to Harry James

Fall Concessions

- This year we are asking the teams/clubs to help run the concession stands.
- Field Hockey has asked for concessions at their games.

- Website will be updated weekly to show the concession profits each week.
- If any other committees would like information posted please let Harry James know.
Membership
Membership has a goal for 200 families to register
Spirit Wear
All product is now from Field House and can be ordered on the website!
Need volunteers for Back to School Night to help sell Spirit Wear
Next Meeting is September 5th, 2007 at 7pm and will be chaired by Laura Wetherald.
