The phrase, “Caring for Our Children, Working together with a heart for kids and
Serving the People” captures the Viking Backers mission. The Mt. Hebron Viking
Backers is dedicated and committed to helping fund all 80 plus clubs and groups at
Mt. Hebron High School. As a charitable, non-profit, volunteer organization, the
Viking Backers includes all parents and guardians of all students at Mt. Hebron High
School. We take pride in the development of the talents of each individual child. It is
the mission of the Viking Backers to cooperatively raise funds to support every child
in their pursuit of excellence.
It takes a lot of planning, a lot of volunteers, and often a good bit of money to
organize any event. If you are fortunate and have the ability to help, donations to the
Viking Backers is always a blessing, but please consider that one of the easiest ways
to help support the Viking Backers is to get involved with us. Volunteers make an
incredible difference in our ability to provide effective programs. We are most grateful
to each individual who gives of their time and talent to make a difference to our
